I don’t know if I’m late on this video because of the fact that I haven’t been around the Tumblr dashboard for a month and a half now, BUT ANYWAY I watched it and I am crying.
So much respect for OFWs all over the world. I can’t imagine how difficult it is for them during the holidays. People are right when they say there is nothing like celebrating Christmas in the Philippines.
The festivities begin at 8:00 PM and end at 12:00 AM at the Best Western Regency House Hotel in Pompton Plains, NJ.
Note about the bar: cash bar opens at 8:00 and open bar begins at 9:30 and ends at 11:00.
I’ve got a fun little contest I just made up now. I hope this will work out well, because I’m just assuming more than 5 people read this:
Trivia question: These plants, native to hot, dry regions of the U.S. and Mexico, are grown for ornament, fiber, and food, but more famously, as the main ingredient of tequila. What are they?
The first 5 people to find me tomorrow night (and introduce themselves if we haven’t met before), tell me an interesting fact about themselves, and correctly answer this question will win…the pleasure of seeing/meeting me.
Just kidding, I’ll get you a drink at the bar…anytime between 9:30 and 11:00 PM (hey, don’t call me cheap, open bar still means you have to tip the bartender, so I’ll pay for tips!). Please don’t be obnoxious, run up to me, and yell the answer in my face because I have the right to refuse getting a drink for you if you happen to be a jerk. Genuinely pleasant people only apply.
I will also include a post on the FLASH Tumblr about the 5 winners and their facts. It’ll be cool! Maybe!
